The most influential teacher I’ve had so far has been my first year practicum teacher. From day one my practicum teacher worked along side me and collaborated with me to make sure both of our needs were being met. She allowed me to take risks and grow as a person, and an educator all within the short span of 3 weeks. The image I chose to represent this experience was a plant. A plant is something that is always growing, but it requires water and sunlight to do so. In my own experience, I was the plant and my practicum teacher was the water and sunlight that allowed me to grow.
