Educators contribute to the profession.
During all of my practicums and through UNBC I have continued to understands what it means to contribute to the profession. For example, I have gotten the opportunity to participate in various PRO-D Day conferences both with the university and with my coaching teachers during my practicums.
I have also fully immersed myself within the school atmosphere by attending staff meetings, learning meetings, SBT meetings, etc. all with the aid from my coaching teacher.
Moving forward into my career, I look forward to immersing myself in each school I work with and continue to learn myself through different district PRO D opportunities. I also look forward to taking on practicum students myself once I have gathered enough knowledge to share meaningfully.
