Educators engage in professional learning.

EDUC490:

During my 490 practicum, I was lucky enough to have a ProD day with my Coaching Teacher (CT). My CT decided to use this opportunity to show me what a CSL (Communication of Student Learning) looks like as by the end of the practicum I would be expected to communicate my own assessment through a CSL.

Working alongside my CT to create a CSL and what the process looks like contributes to standard 7 because I was participating in professional learning. The knowledge I gained from my CT was used at the end of my practicum and throughout other practicums/my career.

Moving forward, I will continue to engage in professional development through various workshops and my future CTs in the upcoming ProD days. I will also take this knowledge I learned from my CT about CSLs and apply it to future CSL writing.
